Getting in touch with the practice of the profession is a time of great learning. This was the opportunity experienced by the students of the State School Caetano Bez Batti, in the municipality of Urussanga / SC.

The student team formed by Lívia Pillon Teixeira, Eduarda Comin, Cecilia Garrido Silvestrini, Isis Morais and Lucca Crema Bressan won second place in the first edition of Inova Jovem Unesc. This program had the participation of public and private schools and aimed to encourage students to devise innovative projects focused on education.

To make this achievement possible, the students had the support of the school's Director, Prof. Marcio Cruz, who was also present at the visit.

The team, whose name is NewGen Leaders (NGL), presented an innovative project, the creation of a mobile application that can offer educational content (through video class) of extra-curricular courses, providing students with a basic knowledge of several areas, such as entrepreneurship and financial education, and can guide you in choosing your future profession.

The students took a Guided Tour throughout the industrial park, accompanied by Eng. Marcelino Gonzaga Nunes, who presented the entire production process of Alumasa. Marcelino stressed that the experience obtained by the students was of paramount importance for their future, as they are able to know the reality of an industry and the most diverse professions that a large company has.

Right after the Tour, the students were received by one of the company's directors, Mr. Rodrigo Fontanella, where he brought to light the benefits that the approximation between companies and schools brings.
